INTRODUCTION
The idea of setting up the Electronic Resources Centre ( ERC
) was from The Information and Communication Unit of the Chief
Ministers Department in collaboration with the Mukah Resident
and District Office.It was part of the state governments effort
in providing effective, efficient and quality services to the
public through the Electronic Media.
This
centre acts as a hub for providing government services from
the government to the public and vice-versa. It also acts as
a centralised information centre for all government agencies
in Mukah where by electronic information could be accessed and
downloaded.

at the both state and federal government could be viewed and forms
could be filled in immediately.
ONE STOP CENTRE
This centre acts as District Information Centre whereby public
can access to website of other government agencies.

OBJECTIVE

Acts
as a localised service centre for services rendered by
government agencies via the electronic media.
Acts as a link between the government and the public and
vice-versa, through the management, insemination and sharing
of the information.
To encourage the usage of ICT among the public especially
in dealing with government agencies.
To Provide knowledge to the public of in the usage of
ICT and to develop further their ICT skills.
